Brass & Copper Lotus Shape Akhand Diya / Oil Lamp – Handcrafted Kamal Diya
Brass & Copper Lotus Shape Akhand Diya / Oil Lamp
Illuminate your sacred space with this exquisitely handcrafted Lotus (Kamal) Shape Akhand Diya, made from premium brass and copper. Designed for religious puja and home temple décor, this stunning oil lamp creates a magical spiritual environment that transforms any space into a divine sanctuary.
The Akhand Diya is a classic oil lamp that burns vegetable oil or ghee (Indian butter) — a tradition cherished since ancient times both as a source of sacred light and as a decorative art piece. Simply fill the lamp, place a cotton wick, and light it to bathe your room in a warm, golden glow. The mirror-polished lotus petals in two-tone brass and rose-gold copper catch the flame's reflection beautifully, making every aarti moment truly special.
How to Use
As an Oil Lamp (Traditional): Fill the central brass bowl with vegetable oil or ghee, insert a cotton wick through the centre pin, and light. The Akhand Diya is designed to burn continuously, keeping the divine flame alive during pujas, festivals, and auspicious occasions.
As a Candle Holder (Modern Alternative): Not familiar with oil lamps? No worries! You can simply place a small tealight or votive candle in the central bowl for the same beautiful, warm glow — no oil or wick needed. It works perfectly as an elegant candle holder for home décor, dining tables, or gifting.
